Michelle Steven, Administrative Team Leader

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Michelle was involved in many of the performing arts. From drama clubs, to marching bands, to wind ensembles to music competitions, Michelle was always on the go. After studying Music and Elementary Education at Wheelock College, she moved to Omaha, Nebraska for a year to experience a different pace of life. Though she met wonderful people and was able to travel and experience a completely different environment than what she grew up knowing, there was still one thing that was not different enough for her; it still snows in Nebraska. At that point Michelle traded in snow shovels for beach shovels and moved to Naples, Florida.

Michelle began working in the dental field in 2004 here in Naples. Throughout the years she has had wonderful mentors who have taught her clinical, clerical and managerial aspects of the dental field. She has experience in chair side assisting, sterilization, insurance verification and processing, team leadership and treatment plan coordination. Michelle enjoys making patients feel comfortable when they come to office. She understands that some patient have had less than favorable experiences at other dental offices and she will go out of her way to make sure the patient's mind is at ease. Michelle is happy to have found a home here at Park Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. She is impressed by the genuine supportive nature of the office; starting from the doctors, to the team leaders, to everyone no matter what their position is at the office. It is one big team and functions as such.

When Michelle is not working, she can usually be found with her daughter Marissa creating memories and exploring what Florida has to offer. When Michelle wants to take it easy, you'll find her by the pool with her Kindle.
