Naples, FL All-on-4 Implants

Bone loss doesn’t have to hold you back from experiencing the comfort and stability of implant-supported dentures. With All-on-4 implants, you can skip bone grafting and move forward with dental implants, even if you have limited bone quantity. The best part: you can go home with a new smile the same day that you get your implants!

What is All-on-4?

All-on-4 is a technique that involves placing each dental implant at an angle rather than vertically. This method of placement best utilizes the available bone structure, making dental implants accessible to patients who have experienced some bone loss and want to avoid bone grafting. As the name implies, the All-on-4 technique can be done with as few as four implants but can also involve more for added stability.

Your New Smile, Right Away

We know how eager you are to ditch your removable dentures. That’s why we want you to begin enjoying the benefits of implant-supported dentures right away. Immediately following your surgery, we’ll secure provisional dentures to your implants, and you’ll go home with a new smile that day!

Our Process

Photo of a CBCT system. To begin, we’ll see you for a comprehensive dental exam. We’ll review your medical history to ensure that you have no medical conditions that would make dental implant surgery unsuitable for you. During your exam, we’ll take x-rays, intraoral photos, and most importantly, a CBCT scan. A CBCT (which stands for cone-beam computed tomography) scan gives us a 3-dimensional view of your jaw, sinuses, and nasal cavity. This view is crucial to the implant process because it gives us the information we need to determine the proper placement for each implant. It also allows us to make sure that there is sufficient bone available to apply the All-on-4 technique as well as to fit you for your dentures.

At this appointment, we’ll also talk with you about your aspirations for your new smile. Together, we’ll come up with a design that fits your facial aesthetics and personality. Then, our in-house laboratory will go to work on creating your provisional and permanent dentures using the specifications we provide.

The next appointment will be for your surgery. At Park Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, our dentists are experienced implant surgeons, so you can have your implants placed by the same team and in the same facility with which you are already comfortable. Once your implants are placed, we’ll attach your provisional dentures while we wait for a few months for osseointegration to occur. Osseointegration is the process in which a dental implant fuses to the surrounding bone. While wearing your provisional denture, you’ll need to be careful not to put too much force on them. If too much force is placed on the implants during osseointegration, it will never heal solidly. Once osseointegration  is complete, you’ll receive your permanent new smile and it will feel like you have your own natural teeth back!
