Naples, FL Functional Dentist

It's natural to want to keep substances out of your body that you don't think should be there. To honor your wishes, Park Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is pleased to offer metal-free and mercury-free restorations. We can even remove the mercury fillings that you already have through sanitary amalgam removal.

Functional Metal-Free and Mercury-Free Dentistry

Whether you are allergic to metal or just don't want it in your smile, we can accommodate your needs as metal-free dentists. We offer metal-free crowns, bridges, and implants. We also understand that some patients wish to avoid potential exposure to mercury. This is not a problem at Park Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, where we don't do amalgam fillings at all. To meet the diverse needs of our patients, we exclusively use composite material any time a filling is needed.

At your request, we can remove your old amalgam fillings while preventing you from ingesting any amalgam debris or breathing in the dust. We do this by isolating the teeth with a rubber dam and employing high-volume suction.

Our Functional Approach

A woman lies peacefully in a field of flowers, her eyes closed, under a blue sky with fluffy white clouds.

In addition to helping you avoid certain substances in your dental work, we also place a high priority on preserving your natural tooth structure. Our dentists carefully assess each patient's unique situation and won't drill away more of your tooth than is needed for a strong, healthy restoration.

“I like the fact that Dr. Long is conservative with tooth structure and that is exactly what I was looking for. I feel very secure and comfortable here.” — H.L.
